Harris will be on time with Packers

July 21, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers defensiveback Al Harris said he's reporting to training camp on time, but he's still not happy with his contract. Harris still wants his current deal redone, but is reportedly willing to give the team until the end of the 2006 season to come up with a new deal. Harris told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that if he doesn't get a new deal done by them, he wants to leave. Harris signed a five-year extension worth $18.6-million in 2004. That deal runs through 2009.
