Jones makes appearance at training camp opener

July 29, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers team President John Jones was on the sidelines last night, watching the Packers training camp opening workout. Jones watched practice for about a half hour before leaving. Jones recently underwent heart surgery after feeling pains in his chest. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said, “It was excellent. I think it was very rewarding for everybody.” “He's doing great, he looks great and I know he's anxious to get back.”
