Sheets Solid In Rehab Start

July 20, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Ben Sheets threw well in what he hopes is his final minor league rehab start for Triple-A Nashville last night in Omaha. The Brewer ace gave up just 3 hits and struck out 4 in 6 and a third innigs of work last night. Sheets was on a 100 pitch limit, but was pulled after 87 because he was starting to get a blister on a finger. Doctors don't think it's serious. Sheets could be back in the Brewers rotation next week.
