Twins Sweep

July 3, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Francisco Liriano struck out 12 Brewers in 8 innings worth of work in an 8-0 win on Sunday at the Metrodome. Jeff Cirillo had 2 of the Brewers 3 hits on the day. His 6th inning single was the 1,500th career hit. Zach Jackson took the loss. The Brewers look to snap a three game slide this afternoon as they open up a three game series with the Reds at Miller Park.
