Wisconsin teams lead the way in NWL attendance

The four Wisconsin teams in the Northwoods summer baseball league are leading the way in average attendance. The Madison Mallards lead the way, with an average of 5,981 fans showing up for every home game. La Crosse is next, averaging 3,008, Eau Claire averages 2,224 and the Wisconsin Woodchucks, in Wausau, is drawing an average 2,099 fans to every home game. The Northwoods League just started second half play in their season.
