Brewers' Bush to the rescue

August 10, 2006 By WRN Contributor

With the Brewers wild card fate falling fast, Dave Bush came to the rescue. The Brewers righthander was throwing a no-hitter into the 6th until Juan Pierre beat out an infield single with one out. The shutout ended when Aramis Ramirez belted a three-run homer. Bush finished with a 3-hitter in 8-innings of work. Francisco Cordero worked the 9th for his 4th save. Brady Clark homered in the win. The series is tied at a game apiece with the finale coming this afternoon at Miller Park.
