Harris to spend a year in prison

August 15, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Former Milwaukee King basketball star Leneal Harris was sentenced to 12 months at the House of Correction, following his guilty pleas last month on felony drug and misdemeanor weapon charges. Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Joseph R. Wall, as a part of sentencing, is allowing Harris work and school release privileges. Harris had signed a letter of intent to play at UW-Milwaukee but was granted his release from his scholarship on May 8, after his arrest.
