Injuries hitting Packers offensive line

August 9, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers took some big hits on their offensive line yesterday. Starting right guard Jason Spitz suffered a bruised lower right leg. backup guard-center Wayne Lucier walked off with what appeared to be an injury to his left ankle and testing on reserve lineman Will Whitticker's hamstring revealed significant damage. Those injuries will put the Packers in a bit of a jam as they figure out how they're going to lineup for the preseason opener against the Chargers on Saturday night.
