Marquette adds Sichting to assistant coaching staff

August 17, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Marquette Golden Eagles added NBA veteran Jerry Sichting to it's coaching staff this week, replacing Dan Panaggio, who resigned after being offered the head-coaching job of the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA Development League team. Sichting has spent the last decade in the Minnesota Timberwolves organization as an assistant coach and the team's director of scouting and player development. Sichting also spent 10 years as an NBA player, averaging 6.9 points and 3.3 assists. He played one game as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1989-90 season.
