Oshkosh wins State Legion Baseball title

Oshkosh won the (AAA) State Legion Baseball tournament, beating host Appleton Post 38 in Sunday's championship game 9-6. However, both teams advance to the National Regional tournament which starts this week. Oshkosh will play in the Central Plains National Regional in Aberdeen, South Dakota, while Appleton Post 38 will head to Evansville, Indiana to play in the Great Lakes regional. — The (AA) State tournament continues this evening in Shawano. Menomonie faces Watertown at 5pm tonight and Cottage Grove takes on unbeaten Kimberly at 7:30.
