Packers deal Fontenot to Cleveland

August 23, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers dealt reserve defensive back Therrian Fontenot to the Cleveland Browns for wide receiver Carlton Brewster. Fontenot played in one game last season for the Packers on special teams and spent most of the season on the teams practice squad. Brewster caught three passes for 21 yards in two preseason games. He could get a look as a kick and punt returner in Green Bay.
