Packers sign offensive line help

August 11, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Searching for some experienced offensive line depth, the Green Bay Packers added former Atlanta Falcons guard Michael Moore to their roster on Thursday. Moore is a former fourth round pick of the Washington Redskins. He's also spent time with Denver and most recently Atlanta, where he spent time with Jeff Jagodzinski as his offensive coordinator. Moore has spent time on the injured list in each of the last two seasons with shoulder injuries. In five seasons, he's played a total of 8 games with 2 starts. — Packers coach Mike McCarthy said tackle Chad Clifton would play against the San Diego Chargers tomorrow night. Rookie receiver Greg Jennings and running back Najeh Davenport are both listed as probable.
