Sheets won't skip a turn

August 9, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Brewers pitcher Ben Sheets expects to make his next start, despite a strained chest muscle. Sheets said he feels the same and is just trying to work out the soreness. Sheets had to leave last Saturday's game against St. Louis after just one inning. — Brewers team physician, Dr. William Raasch, says second baseman Rickie Weeks will have to decide whether he wants to have surgery on his right wrist. A tendon in that wrist continues to snap out of place. Raasch said the injury isn't serious but it will prevent weeks from swinging a bat.
