Triple (A) Legion State Tournament opens today

The (AAA) State Legion baseball tournament opens today at Don Hawkins Field in Appleton. Appleton Post 38 earned an automatic spot in the field of 8 teams because they're hosting the event. Post 38 will face Wisconsin Rapids in the final game of the day at 8pm tonight. The tournament opens at 10am with Eau Claire taking on Juneau City. Oshkosh takes on La Crosse at 1pm, followed by Sheboygan and Marinette at 4pm.
