U of Wisconsin creates Joe Thomas website

August 24, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Joe Thomas may not only be the best offensive lineman to ever play for the Badger football program, he's the only one that has his own website that was put together by the University. The Department of Athletics unveiled the new web site, joe72.org, to promote Thomas. The senior from Brookfield, Wis., is a candidate for the Outland Trophy, Lombardi Award and also is an All-American candidate. The web site features Thomas' bio, which will be updated throughout the season, action photos and video clips of special features on Thomas. Fans can currently view highlights from the Big Ten Media Day, Thomas fishing on Lake Mendota with teammate Ken DeBauche, and a day with Thomas during his summer internship at Merrill Lynch. More features will be added during the season.
