Woodson not likely to see time on offense

August 4, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said there's a chance defensive back Charles Woodson could see some time on punt return duties, but it's not real likely that he'll spend anytime at wide receiver. Woodson said he'd like to take a shot at receiver back when he signed as a free agent, but missing all of the teams opportunity sessions, he didn't get anytime on that side of the ball. McCarthy said it's probably a little late in the game to throw Woodson into that mix, but didn't rule it out in the future.
