Ashwaubenon will appeal WIAA's decision

September 27, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Ashwaubenon High School will file an appeal with the WIAA, requesting the association overturn the ruling the Jaguars must forfeit their first four football games. The rulling came down after it was learned that defensive lineman Rex Manibogturned 19 before Aug. 1 and the proper paperwork had not been filed, breaking WIAA rules. With the forfeits, the Jaguars, who started the season at 5-0, are now 1-4 and will have to win their remaining three games to have a shot at the playoffs.
