Brewers losing skid reaches 7

September 1, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers losing streak reached 7-games after their 5-3 loss to the Houston Astros. The Astros have won 6-straight and find themselves just 2 1/2 games back in the wildcard chase. Craig Biggio's 2-run homer capped off a 4-run seventh for Houston. Prince Fielder had two hits, including a solo home run. Manager Ned Yost and Jeff Cirillo were both ejected in the first inning. Doug Davis took the loss, falling to 9-9. The Brewers finished a 7-game road trip without a win. They'll host Florida at Miller Park tonight.
