Brewers losing streak reaches 10

September 4, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers ran their losing streak to 10-straight games, falling to the Florida Marlins 10-3 on Sunday. Rookie Scott Olsen allowed just one hit in seven scoreless innings and the Marlins put up 7-runs in the 8th to break the game open. Olsen struck out 7 and walked only two as the Marlins pulled off their second sweep of the Brewers in a weeks time. The Marlins became the first team since 1899 to return to .500 after falling 20 games below. The Brewers open a series against the L.A. Dodgers at Miller Park this afternoon.
