Favre not likely to go anywhere, but keeps door open

September 7, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Brett Favre said he can't completely rule out the possibility that he might play for another team before his career is over. But Favre also told reporters at a Wednesday news conference that he is “99.9 percent” sure he'll retire a Green Bay Packer. In a taped H-B-O interview, Favre told Bob Costas that he'd consider playing elsewhere if the Packers decided to rebuild. Favre said yesterday though, that his answer was a hypothetical one. Favre turns 37 in October and is entering his 15th season with the Packers and 16th overall in the NFL.
