Packers are the youngest team in NFC North

When the Green Bay Packers face the Chicago Bears in their season opener on Sunday at Lambeau Field, they'll have the youngest team in the NFC North Division. The Packers 53 players as of today (Tuesday) average about 25 1/2 years of age, a full year younger than the Bears. According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, the Packers have the most rookies (14), first-year players (3) and second-year players (10). In terms of NFL experience, the Packers' roster has an average of 3.57 years of service, followed by the Bears, Vikings and Lions in order.
