Packers sign Robinson, release Leach

September 13, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers officially signed wide receiver Koren Robinson to a 2-year contract on Tuesday. To make room on the roster, the Packers released fullback Vonta Leach. Leach started 5-games for the Packers last season. He was used primarily as a blocker in his two seasons with the teams, getting no carries in 23 games. Leach did catch 5 passes for 19 yards. Robinson will be on the practice field with the Packers this afternoon.
