Skiba wins Fox Cities Marathon in first try

Phil Skiba of La Crosse captured the 16th annual Fox Cities Marathon in 2:32:24 yesterday, finishing more than five minutes in front of runner-up Craig Ottman of Fort Worth, Texas. Neenah's Michael Henz was the top local finisher, taking 3rd. — Neenah's Sue Pierson won the women's title, crossing the finish line in 2:56:42. That was nearly 13 minutes in front of Appleton's Alisha Damrow.
