Blackmon returns to Packers practice

October 17, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Rookie Will Blackmon could see his first playing time as a professional with the Packers when they take on the Dolphins in Miami on Sunday. Blackmon underwent surgery roughly five months ago on his injured foot after getting injured in the teams second minicamp. Blackmon missed all of training camp and the first five games of the regular season. He worked with the first defensive unit yesterday (Monday) in practice because Charles Woodson missed practice with rib and ankle injuries. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said, “He needs to go through a full week of practice, but he looked good today.”
