Bogut to miss 6 to 8 weeks for Bucks

October 10, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Bucks second year big man Andrew Bogut will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks after suffering a torn ligament in his left knee in practice on Saturday. Bogut was helped off the court during a team scrimmage on Saturday after banging his leg into Steve Blake's knee. Bogut's injury will allow players such as Dan Gadzuric and Brian Skinner to get more playing time in the preseason and the start of the regular season. The Bucks open the preseason Wednesday night at Minnesota.
