Bogut to play in Bucks opener

October 31, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Milwaukee Bucks Center Andrew Bogut is expected to play in the team's season opener in Detroit on Wednesday night.

Bogut was diagnosed with a lower left leg sprain on October 7th after banging his leg into teammate Steve Blake's knee during a scrimmage.  The injury was expected to sideline him for 6 to 8 weeks, but Bogut has returned to the lineup in about a month.

Bogut was cleared to practice by the Bucks on Monday.
