Capuano, Hall picked to play on Japanese tour

October 11, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Brewers pitcher Chris Capuano and shortstop Bill Hall were among 24 major-league players that have been named to compete in November in the “All-Star Series 2006” in Japan. It's the 10th year that Major League Baseball and the players association have sent a group of major leaguers to play an off-season series in Japan. Capuano has struggled in the 2nd half after being named to the all-star team earlier this summer. He went 1-8 in the second half after a 10-4 start. Hall lead the Brewers team with home runs this season, clubbing 35.
