October 9, 2006 By WRN Contributor

For the second straight week, a member of the Badger football team has garnered Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors. Freshman running back P.J. Hill shares the honor this week with Ohio State QB Troy Smith. Hill carried the ball a career high 35 times for a career-best 249 yards, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. He currently ranks 5th in the country and first in the Big Ten in rushing. — The Badgers 5-1 record has pushed them into the top 25. They're ranked 25th this week in the Associated Press Top 25.
