Hockey Badgers swept by Boston College

October 30, 2006 By WRN Contributor

In a rematch of last seasons NCAA men's hockey championship, the Wisconsin Badgers were swept on home ice this weekend by Boston College.  The Badgers (3-3-2, 2-1-1 WCHA) fell to the Eagles 4-1 on Saturday night at the Kohl Center.  It marks the first time since February 24-25, 2006 at Minnesota State, that the Badgers have lost two games in a row.  Jake Dowell scored the only Wisconsin goal on Saturday.

The Badgers return to the road next weekend as they travel north to take on the Seawolves of Alaska-Anchorage.
