Kenseth moves into NASCAR points lead

October 23, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Cambridge, Wisconsin native Matt Kenseth is the new leader in NASCAR's Chase for the Championship.  Kenseth finished 11th yesterday in the Subway 500 at Martinsville Speedway, but that was enough to move him into the points lead.  Jimmy Johnson won the race to move into 3rd place in the points standings, behind Kenseth and Kevin Harvick.  There's four races left, starting with the Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 in Hampton, Georgia on Sunday.
