Lasee getting his 15 minutes of fame

A state lawmaker who wants to put guns in schools is getting worldwide attention.

State Representative Frank Lasee (R-Green Bay) is getting some worldwide exposure these days. Lasee has been on television and radio around the U.S. and on the radio in Canada, the U.K. and Australia. And a Japanese film crew wants to do a story. It's all about Lasee's plan, which would allow teachers to carry concealed guns to deal with increasing school violence. He's since scaled by the idea to only guns available to teachers and administrators in safes or some other locked containers.

Lasee says he welcomes the exposure because it raises awareness to the issue of school safety.
