Spitz returns for Packers

October 11, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Packers rookie guard Jason Spitz has vomited before games due to nervousness in the past, but that was not the case on Sunday. Spitz said he felt ill as soon as he woke up Sunday morning and got worse as the day went along. Spitz was throwing up blood, which forced team doctors to send him to the hospital during the Packers loss to the Rams on Sunday. Tests came back normal and Spitz returned to the practice field yesterday.
