Thomas is a semifinalist for Lombardi Award

Wisconsin Badger senior left tackle Joe Thomas has been named one of 12 semifinalists for the 2006 Rotary Lombardi Award. Thomas has been a key figure in the Badgers ground game which ranks first in the Big Ten and features freshman running back P.J. Hill, the nation's fifth leading rusher. Thomas and the Badgers return to Big Ten action this Saturday in West Lafayette, Indiana against Purdue.
