UW's Mehlhaff is Big Ten Player of the Week

University of Wisconsin junior kicker Taylor Mehlhaff was named the Big Ten Conference special teams Player of the Week today.  Mehlhaff made all three of his field goal attempts in Saturday's 30-24 win over Illinois.  He also added three touchbacks on seven kickoffs.

Mehlhaff is 11 of 13 in the field goal department through 9-games.  His two misses have come from 55 and 47 yards.  He's also recorded 33 touchbacks on 57 kickoffs.
