WIAA Football Playoff Pairings Coming..

October 20, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The WIAA will release the first round pairings for the football playoffs that begin on Tuesday.  Earlier on Friday, the WIAA released the teams that have made this year's field and one team that was left out that has made the post-season every year since the mid-1970s.  Last year's Division 6 runner-up, Fond du Lac St. Mary's Springs has made the WISAA or WIAA playoffs every year since the 1970s under legendary coach Bob Hyland, but they won't be going this year.  The Ledgers were eligible for the playoffs with a 3-3 Wisconsin Flyway mark, but their 4-5 overall record led the WIAA not to put them in the field.
