Favre should start Monday night

November 25, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre should start for the Packers on Monday night when they take on the Seattle Seahawks in Monday Night Football action.

Favre was still having problems with his injured right elbow on Wednesday and didn't take part in the teams full practice.  But after an off day on Thursday, Favre returned to practice on Friday and took most of the reps with the number one offense and appeared to do just fine.

Middle linebacker Nick Barnett practiced for the first time with his broken right hand in aprotective club cast, but it's not certain if he'll play against the Seahawks on Monday night.  Barnett is expected to give the hand a further test with some harder hits during practice today (Saturday).

Left tackle Chad Clifton was added to the teams injury report with a hamstring.  He's listed as questionable.

Fullback Brandon Miree, who has been out with an elbow injury, could return to the lineup this week.  Miree has practiced all week and is questionable on the teams injury report.
