Kampman named NFC Defensive Player of the Week

November 2, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers defensive end Aaron Kampman recorded two sacks in last week's win over Arizona and was named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week award.  Kampman is tied for the NFL lead with 8 1/2 quarterback sacks on the season.

Wide Receiver Greg Jennings moved closer to returning to the Packers starting lineup this Sunday at Buffalo.  Jennings was injured late in the second quarter of the Oct. 22 victory at Miami.  He didn't play last Sunday in the Packers win over Arizona.

Jennings participated in many of the early practice individual drills and is listed as questionable on the teams injury report.
