Panthers end 4-game slide

November 23, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Ricky Franklin scored 13 points to help the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee knock off South Dakota State 75-58 in men's college basketball action in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.  The win ended the Panthers four-game losing streak.

The Panthers led 42-32 early in the second half, but the Jackrabbits rallied to tie the score at 54-all.  Franklin hit a pair of free throws with 6:48 to play to snap the tie and the Panthers never gave up the lead again.
