UW-Parkside shocks UW-Milwaukee in exhibition

November 2, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Tyrone Deacon scored 20 points to lead the University of Wisconsin-Parkside to a 77-71 upset win over UW-Milwaukee in the exhibition opener for both teams.

After losing seven seniors and all five starters from last season, the Panthers were left with several inexperienced players after finishing 22-9 a year ago.

Parkside is a division 2 school that pulled off the win over a division 1 program.
