Whitewater picked to win WIAC basketball title

November 3, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Defending WIAC men's basketball champion UW-Whitewater is favored to repeat as league champs this season.  The Warhawks will have to replace last seasons player of the year, Jeremy Manchester, but returns most of the other key players from a squad that finished 23-6 a year ago.

The Warhawks are ranked No. 4 in the D3hoops.com top 25 poll.

UW-Oshkosh could give the Warhawks a run for their money.  The Titans return four starters from last year.
