Badgers roll past rival UW-Milwaukee

December 14, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The 7th ranked Wisconsin Badgers passed a big test in what many would consider a trap game.  The Badgers rolled to a 68-49 win over UW-Milwaukee at the Kohl Center on Wednesday night.

The Badgers were coming off a win over Marquette last Saturday and will host #2 Pittsburgh this Saturday.  The so-called trap game was in-between, the matchup against UW-Milwaukee, coached by former Badger and Bo Ryan assistant Rob Jeter.

But the Badgers never let this game become an issue.  They jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead and were never challenged.

Alando Tucker scored 20-points for the Badgers (10-1) in the win.  The Panthers fell to 2-10 with the loss.
