Doyle picks new Administration Secretary

December 1, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Current Department of Revenue Secretary Michael Morgan has been named as the next Department of Administration Secretary. Morgan says he's looking forward to the challenge in trying to meet the vision of Doyle's second term in office.

Morgan replaces outgoing Secretary Steve Bablitch, who says his family is the main reason he's stepping down. Morgan has been commuting from the Milwaukee-area since he took over the post in September of 2005. Bablitch replaced Mark Marotta, who was Doyle's original DOA Secretary.

Governor Doyle says Morgan brings integrity and intelligence to the job and can help meet the next agenda of the administration. Doyle has not yet named a replacement for Morgan in the Revenue Department.
