Favre sets all-time NFL completion mark

December 18, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre became the NFL's all-time completions leader yesterday as the Green Bay Packers knocked off the Detroit Lions 17-9 at Lambeau Field.

Favre broke Dan Marino's career completions record, but didn't have a stellar day.  Favre didn't throw any touchdown passes and tossed three interceptions.

The Packers picked up just their 2nd home victory of the season and will play their final home game against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.
