Marquette beats Delaware State, Badgers next

December 6, 2006 By WRN Contributor

The Marquette Golden Eagles got 16 points from Jerel McNeal in a 65-48 win over Delaware State at the Bradley Center.

McNeal was one of four Marquette starters in double figures.  The Golden Eagles are coming off a weekend loss to North Dakota State.

With the win, Marquette coach Tom Crean now has 150 coaching victories at the school in just his 8th season.  Crean has averaged just under 19 wins a season during his stay in Milwaukee.

Marquette (9-1) next faces the Wisconsin Badgers (8-1) at the Bradley Center on Saturday.
