McNeal Leads College Hoops In Steals

December 26, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Marquette's Jerel McNeal is leading college basketball in steals this season at 3.6 per game.  The sophomore sometimes gets forgotten about with fellow classmates Dominic James and Wes Matthews getting most of the headlines, but McNeal has been having a solid year averaging about 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3.6 steals this season.  At 12-2, Marquette will host Savannah State on Saturday at the Bradley Center.
