January 29, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Alando Tucker scored 27 points to lead the 2nd ranked Wisconsin Badgers to a 57-46 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City on Sunday.

The win is the 17th in a row for the Badgers, extending the nation's longest win streak.

Brian Butch added 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Badgers.  Wisconsin improved to 21-1, their best start in school history.  The Badgers are also 7-0 in the Big Ten, the team's best conference start since the Badgers went 12-0 in 1914.

Iowa shot just 28 % from the field, hitting only 16 of 57.

Wisconsin is back on the road Wednesday, at Indiana.
