Boykins leads Bucks to road win

January 15, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Newly acquired  Milwaukee Bucks  point guard Earl Boykins, playing in just his second gasme with his new team, scored a season-high 30 points to lead the Bucks to a 99-91 win over the Charlotte Bobcats in Charlotte on Monday afternoon.

Andrew Bogut added a career high 27 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in the win as the Bucks ended a 5-game losing streak, improving to 17-20 on the season.

Boykins came to the Bucks along with Julius Hodge in a trade with Denver last week for guard Steve Blake.

The Bucks were playing a matinee game in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
