Brewers go to golf channel for TV play by play man

January 10, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers will announce their new play-by-play man at an afternoon news conference (3pm) today.

Brian Anderson from the golf channel gets the gig and will work with analyst Bill Schroeder on the teams television broadcasts.  Anderson will replace Darren Sutton, who left to take the television job with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Brewers will also hold a press conference on Thursday to officially introduce their newest free agent acquisition, pitcher Jeff Suppan.
