Favre postpones surgery

January 2, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on Monday to remove bone spurs from his left ankle.  But a spokesman said the procedure was postponed.  There's no word on when the surgery will take place or why it was delayed.

Former Packer Javon Walker is fortunate to be alive today.  The limo he was riding in early New Years morning was peppered by bullets after an arguement at a downtown Denver night club.

Walker's teammate, 2nd year defensive back Darrent Williams was killed, just hours after the Bronco's were knocked out of playoff contention with an overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
