Manitowoc man may have overdosed

January 16, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Two Manitowoc men remain jailed in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in a ditch last week. Authorities are piecing together a story involving Daniel Christenson's death from a drug overdose, after which his body was dumped along a city street. A suspect, 45 year-old Mark Brown, faces charges, including hiding a corpse and obstruction. A second man, 50 year-old Rickey Hauke, also faces charges of hiding a corpse.

The Manitowoc County D.A., Mark Roher, said in court that Brown had told three other people that Christenson overdosed and his body had been dumped.
